The broadcast of the TV anime “Ex-Arm”, which has been delayed due to the spread of COVID-19, will start in Jan. 2021. Saitou Souma as the protagonist Akira, and Kimura Yoshikatsu, the director, will appear on VIRTUAL CRUNCHYROLL EXPO 2020, which will be held from Sep. 4 to Sep. 6 local time.

“Ex-Arm” depicts “over technological criminal battles”, and based on the manga, which had been serialized on “Grand Jump” and “Shonen Jump+”. “Ex-Arm EXA”, the new chapter of it, is currently being serialized on “Grand Jump Mucha”.
The story is set in the near future in 2030, and begins when the protagonist Akira meets Uezono Minami, a police officer, and Arma, an android. Akira is a high school student, and became “EX-ARM”, an unknown weapon, whenhis brain was taken out after a traffic accident.

“Ex-Arm” was scheduled to be broadcast from July 2020, but it has been delayed due to the spread of COVID-19. After that, the production was resumed with measures to prevent the infection, and the new schedule has been announced today.

Furthermore, Saitou Souma as the protagonist Akira, and Kimura Yoshikatsu, the director, will appear on VIRTUAL CRUNCHYROLL EXPO 2020, which will be held from Sep. 4 to 6 local time. They will appear around 1:15 p.m. local time (5:15 a.m. on Sep. 5, Japan Time). It will be archived to be streamed until Sep. 7. Please check it out.
