TV anime director Sakai Munehisa
Right now, the entire world is suffering a lot.
In March, we were also forced to make the painful decision to stop our project 'Zombie Land Saga'.

But, it is not over yet!
I've spent the last few months hoping that the staff and cast members will be able to get their revenge one day, and also to overcome these difficulties with the support of all the fans who love the 'Zombie Land Saga' and bring back a bright smile on us.

Today, it was announced that the stage team will be the first to start our revenge!
I was excited to see how the rehearsals for the play, which I was shown before, were filled with passion and about to reach a level of perfection. While remembering that, I feel grateful and happy for the time it took to come alive.
Of course, the staff of the original series will also be supporting us!
I can't stop hoping that this revenge will be a great chain of events!

The show is coming in Sep. 2020!

To be honest, I couldn't believe my ears when I first heard about a stage play adaptation (ahah). But when I was shown the audition, I got all excited to realize that my work was going to open up a new world.

I've always loved stage plays and drama, but I didn't expect to see that in the 'Zombie Land Saga'!

Takanashi Riri, who plays Hoshikawa Lily, did the motion capture for the same character in the TV anime as well. When I saw her, I thought that, like just Lily, she is a dancer who has a lot of energy and great smooth dancing moves. This is why I recommended her for the stage role.

The stage play 'Zombie Land Saga Stage de Do-n!' is going to be a great show. Please look forward to it!
