“Bungo Strayed Dogs” is originally a manga of the same title, which is currently serialized in “Young Ace”. The stage play has been performed in three different parts so far.

The new stage play “Bungo Stray Dogs Hashigaki”, which includes “Story of the Detective Agency's Foundation” and “Dazai Osamu's Employment Examination”, is written and directed by Nakayashiki Norihito, who has also worked on the previous stage plays. The cast includes Nagae Ryouki as Edogawa Ranpo, Izumi Shuuhei as Fukuzawa Yukichi, Teruma as Kunikida Doppo, and Tawada Hideya as Dazai Osamu.

This episode is based on two light novels published by Kadokawa Beans, “Bungo Stray Dogs Tanteisha Setsuritsu Hiwa” (Story of the Detective Agency's Foundation) and “Bungo Stray Dogs Dazai Osamu Nyuusha Shiken” (Dazai Osamu's Employment Examination), which are now on sale with great reviews. The two works are a new attempt to perform two different plays at the same time.

The new stage play “Bungo Stray Dogs Hashigaki” featuring “Story of the Detective Agency's Foundation” and “Dazai Osamu's Employment Examination” will be held at Tokyo's OWL SPOT from Sep. 11, 2020.
