As a replacement of the exhibitions canceled due to the widespread of COVID-19, DMM.com corporation has decided to launch a free of charge online exhibition space for business negotiations and announcements in their bid to show support to the anime industry. Each corporation's exhibit as well as their related partners will have free of charge entry and the exhibition will commence in the later half of Jun. 2020.
“Anime online Exhibition” was decided to be held as a substitute for negotiations and planned events being cancelled due to the continuing tough conditions of the state of emergency declaration. DMM.com came up with this idea: “to create a place to talk about works currently in progress and plans that have been stalled” and “to bring as much enjoyment as they can to the world with anime by utilizing this space”. Hence, with that in mind, an online space where people from the anime industry and their partners can mingle, negotiate and do announcements was created.
With the offline exhibition set-up as a base of reference, the “Anime online Exhibition” consists of similar new product stages, negotiation booths etc. Online meetings are scheduled to be held on zoom. Only those who have pre-registered are allowed entry into the event space and each exhibiting company is currently accepting registrations for negotiations.
DMM is bearing all costs for the exhibition in a bid to contribute to the business of the anime industry. It is free of charge to exhibit and companies such as publishing firms to voice acting agencies, goods manufacturers, licensing companies (both domestic and abroad), and industries even slightly related to the anime industry are strongly encouraged to consider joining this event.
The “Anime online Exhibition”'s company registration is open from 19 May ~ 5 Jun. 2020. In addition, registration for companies or individuals who wish to enter the space will commence at a later date.
