Hirano Aya, who played Suzumiya Haruhi in the TV anime “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya”, posted a video dancing “Hare Hare Yukai” on Twitter, and “#Full-powered Hare Hare Yukai at Home” is currently a hot topic on the social media.
The casts are gradually responding to it, as Sugita Tomokazu, who played Kyon, and Shiraishi Minoru, who played Taniguchi, also danced “Hare Hare Yukai” and posted the video on the internet.
Kobushi Nobuyuki, who played the captain of the Computer Club, quoted and retweeted the video with a comment which says, “Give our computer back, if you are dancing!”.
“The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya” is originally a light novel by Tanigawa Nagaru which was adopted in the TV anime in 2006 as 1st season, in 2009 as 2nd season, and adopted in the movie “The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya”.
“Hare Hare Yukai” was used as the ending theme song in the 1st season, and it became a hot topic for characters dancing “smoothly” in the ending video. At the time, the “Tried to Dance” series, which copied the original dance in real life, become very popular on the internet, and it is also loved currently by many fans.
While the casts including Sugita Tomokazu (played Kyon) and Shiraishi Minoru (played Taniguchi) responded to the video, the new response came from Kobushi Nobuyuki (Old name is in kanji), who played the captain of the Computer Club.
This Computer Club is the pitiful characters who gets involved in many troubles, including a threat by Suzumiya Haruhi for made-up sexual harassment photo and a theft of their computers.
Kobushi, the actor for the captain of the Computer Club, quoted and retweeted the tweet of “#Full-powered Hare Hare Yukai at Home” by Hirano Aya by saying, “Give us our computers back, if you are dancing!!”. It made the fans secretly smile.
The comments from the fans said, “It was funny to see 'give ours computers back!!' lol”, “They haven't returned it yet?”, “You still remember it? lol”, “Take care, captain…”, “That's how the captain should be!”, “It is so nostalgic”, and “I don't think they will ever return them to you”.
