Hasegawa Machiko's masterpiece “Sazae-san” is reprinted for the first time in 27 years. The original version of the phantom published by “Shimaisha” features a new newspaper's publication date and a note, a volume that can only be enjoyed in Reiwa era.

“Sazae-san” is a manga by Hasegawa Machiko that was serialized in “Yukan Fukunichi”, “Asahi Shimbun”, and others from 1946 to 1974.
In response to the desire to republish it, all the 68 volumes have been reprinted for the first time in 27 years.

The newspaper's publication date, which was not included in the original version, has been added so that the reader will be able to know the events, life, and seasonal changes at that time easily. In addition, a note is added at the end of the book to let people, who are not aware of those days, know about the scenes that can not be seen now, such as washboards and Kamishibai. Fans will be able to learn not only about the events and life of that time but also the history the Showa period.

The manga “Sazae-san” is currently on sale from volume 1 to 6. Volumes 7 to 9 will be released on Mar. 6, 2020, volumes 10 to 12 on Apr. 7, and after that, 3 volumes are scheduled to be published every month until Nov. 2021.
