The latest film by Dreamworks, which produced “Shrek” and “The Boss Baby”, will be released in Japan under the title of “Trolls Music ★ Power” (original title: TROLLS WORLD TOUR) in Oct. 2020.
The colorful and ugly yet cute “Trolls”, which became a huge hit worldwide, starting from the United States, will bring laughter and happiness all over Japan with groovy music.

The protagonist of “Trolls Music ★ Power” is Poppy, the Queen of the fairy “Trolls” who lives in Pop Village and loves songs, dance, and hugs.
The village of Trolls used to flourish as a kingdom for a long time, but when Poppy finds out that they are but one of six different Troll tribes, each devoted to a different genre of music, her heart leaps with joy; “What a wonderful thing to know that there are Trolls who sing and dance differently from us!”.
In the meantime, Queen Barb of Rock Village starts to take over all the villages… Will Poppy be able to protect the world with their friends?

It is a series featuring colorful and cute trolls who love singing and dancing. In the previous work “Trolls” (unreleased in Japan), the hit song “Can't Stop The Feeling” by Justin Timberlake, who was in charge of the theme song, dubbing, and also served as an executive producer for the film's music, was nominated for the 89th Academy Award for Best Original Song.
In “Trolls Music ★ Power”, the trolls will sing and dance on big hit numbers that everyone is familiar with regardless of generation, such as “One More Time” by Daft Punk, “Rock You Like a Hurricane” by Scorpions, and “Wannabe” by Spice Girls.

The film is directed by Walt Dohrn, who worked in the “Shrek” series and “SpongeBob”. In addition, the role of the heroine Poppy, who love singing and dance, is played by Anna Kendrick, who has a high reputation for being Hollywood's No. 1 singer. The steady and a little shy Poppy's partner Branch is played by Justin Timberlake, who is seen as the king of pop with big hit numbers released one after another.
