From Dec. 28 to Dec. 31, 2019, the world’s largest sales exhibition of coterie magazines (doujinshi) “Comic Market 97 (C97)” was held at the Tokyo Big Sight West and South Halls and the Aomi Exhibition Hall in Tokyo. The Chinese cosplayer Kitaro (@kitaro_cos) who is rapidly gaining in popularity, also participates in cosplay for 4 days including the corporate booths.

Kitaro had been so cute and had gained a great deal of attention in the summer Comic Market (C96), and later joined the same cosplay production as the leading cosplayer in Japan, Enako. She still lives in China, but often visits Japan to increase her activities.

In C97, she cosplayed as Snow Miku 2019 on the first day, Vanilla at a corporate booth “Ena Cos TV produced by movic” on the second day, as Sheryl from “Macross F” on the third day, and Nezuko from “Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon Slayer” on the fourth day. This time, we were given an opportunity to shoot her on only the first day and the fourth day, so we will report the unreleased photos together.
