“Go! Core Fighter” from “Gundam Reconguista in G”, directed by Tomino Yuyuki, will be released on Friday, Nov. 29. We can not miss the movies that were divided into 5 parts, after 5 years from the release of TV animation.

“Mobile Suit Gundam” started on 1979. “Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE” was released from Oct. 2019, and the long history of Gundam series continues for over 40 years in multiple types of media. Among all the varieties of Gundam series, which will be supported by Anime!Anime! readers?

Here on Anime!Anime!, we have conducted survey, “What is your favorite Gundam series?” The survey was taken from Nov. 13 to Nov.20, and we got 162 responses.
Ratio between the male and the female was 3 to 1, where male are the majority. 19 years or under made up 20%, 20’s made up 30%, and 30’s made up 15%, and 40’s made up 20% and there were diversity in age of the voters.

■”Mobile Suit Gundam SEED” gained high reputation from female!
Ranked in first was “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED”, and supporting rate was about 12%.
“Gundam SEED” was aired from 2002 to 2003. The series took in new fans, with the story of the battles between new human made by genetic manipulation called Coordinator, and ordinary human, called Natural.
“This work made me the fan of Gundam series. Both statements of the Earth Defense Force and opposing force sounded correct, and I watched the both forces, not cheering for neither side.” “The anime was the first Gundam series of 21th century, and I love destructive scenarios of the later half of the series.” The mobile suits were popular as well, and there were multiple comments saying, “‘SEED’ made me go GunPla.”

Ranked in 2nd was “Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans”. The supporting rate was about 9%.
Fifty episodes of “Iron-Blooded Orphans” were aired from 2015 to 2017. This series a main character who has been used as a child soldier, creating Tekkadan, a group of militias.
“The characters working hard to survive severe world which overlapped with me”, and “The chaotic scenarios of later half and the scatter of the Tekkadan members were very sad, but beautiful at the same time”, the readers commented. The readers seemed enjoy with the anime by empathize with it.

Ranked in 3rd was “Mobile Suit Gundam 00”. The supporting rate was 8%.
“Gundam 00” was made of 50 episodes and aired from 2007 to 2009. In 2010, “Mobile Suit Gundam 00 the Movie-Awakening of the Trailblazer” was released.
The comments said, “The anime was set in modern day, first time in the Gundam series, and it made me realize that the wars occurring around the world is not faraway from us”, and “The voice actors and actresses are great! The anime made me think what peace really is”, and the depth story was popular. “I am Gundam”, a line said by Setsuna F Seiei, and other lines were very popular as well.

For male only ranking, “∀Gundam” and “Iron-Blooded Orphens” ranked in tie. For female only ranking, “Gundam SEED” gained twice more votes than the 2nd.
“∀Gundam” was aired from 1999 to 2000. The story was about the battles between the Earth and the moon, and the design of Turn A Gundam, which was designed by Syd Mead, a product designer, was popular also. A comment said, “Story progressed slowly, but has moments of momentum and change”, such as the scene of using Gundam as a washing machine was in the anime.

“‘Mobile Fighter G Gundam’ is a pioneer whom made “Mobile Suit Gundam” into “Gundam” series. If there was no ‘Mobile Fighter G Gundam’, we would not have this diversity of Gundam today.”
‘Mobile Suit Gundam Wing’ described , “The honesty of young boys was what I liked about although there were very sad scenes. I also like how music by TWO-MIX matches with the anime.”

“The story of ‘Mobile Suit Gundam AGE’ was new to me in a way that the story was about 3 generations of a father, a son, and a grandson. The artists of the theme songs were those who are so famous in Japan.”
“‘In Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO: Gravity Front’, I loved how the soldiers of the Earth Force bravely fought against Zaku in a desperate situation. I loved the contrast with the previous series, in which Gravity Front only focused on the battles on the ground.” There were several votes for this OVA as well.
