In commemoration of the release of the film "Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine," new merchandise featuring new illustrations from the TV anime "Detective Conan" has been released. The items are currently available at some animate stores, theaters, and other stores handling anime goods starting on April 14, 2023. Detective Conan", serialized by Aoyama Gosho in "Weekly Shōnen Sunday" since 1994, is a mystery manga about a high school detective, Kudo Shinichi, who is transformed into a child body due to a poison fed by the mysterious Black Organization. The story follows Kudo as he takes on difficult cases as Edogawa Conan. The TV series began in January 1996 and reached its 1,000th episode in March 2021. The 26th theater version, "Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine," is set at Interpol's offshore facility, Pacific Buoy, and depicts a full-scale clash between the police force, FBI, and the Black Organization, as a dark shadow approaches Haibara. The new merchandise released this time coincides with the release of the film, featuring newly-drawn illustrations of Edogawa Conan, Haibara Ai, Bourbon, and other members of the Black Organization. The lineup includes "Trading Hologram Tin Badges," "Trading Stickers," "Acrylic Stands," and "Document Holders." In May, a capsule toy "Conan & Haibara’s Capsule Rubber Strap" featuring famous scenes between Conan and Haibara will also be released at capsule toy stores nationwide. The brand "ZERO STAR," produced by voice actor Furuya Tooru, who plays the three faces of Amuro Tooru, Bourbon, and Zero Furuya in the film, is now offering new items to coincide with the release of "Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine" the movie version. The first lineup includes jewelry, T-shirts, and hoodies. The "Hoodie (Bourbon)" is based on the image of "Bourbon," one of Amuro Tooru's three faces. To commemorate the release of the theatrical version of "Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine," the pattern is designed to represent waves, and the "ZERO STAR" logo, proof of Furuya's production, is embroidered on the sleeve cuffs.
