The first part of the new OAD series “The Ancient Magus’ Bride: The Boy From the West and the Knight of the Mountain Haze” has been released. At the same time, new characters and cast members were announced, including Igarashi Hiromi as Gabriel and Ichikawa Aoi as the mysterious boy.
“The Ancient Magus’ Bride: The Boy From the West and the Knight of the Mountain Haze” is a completely new episode based on the original story by Kore Yamazaki.
In the trailer, there is an animated cut of the ghost hunting party that symbolizes this original story, as well as new characters “Gabriel” and the “Mysterious Boy”. The voices of both characters, done by Igarashi-san and Ichikawa-san, were also released for the first time.
“The Ancient Magus’ Bride: The Boy From the West and the Knight of the Mountain Haze” Part 1 Blu-ray Disc will be included in the “The Ancient Magus’ Bride” comic volume 16 special edition to be released on September 10, 2021. The price is 4,980 JPY (tax included).
