Japan's largest all-night cosplay event “LAGCOS 2020” will be held at Laguna Ten Bosch in Gamagori City, Aichi Prefecture from 10:00 A.M. on Sept.12th till 6:00 A.M. on Sep. 13th.

The all-night cosplay event will be held for the 6th time this year. During the event cosplayers and photographers will be able to take cosplay photos against Lagunasia's extraordinary backdrops, since it's held all night, cosplayers will be able to enjoy taking pictures amongst fantastic illuminated lights and scenery.

Usually, it's held every year in July, to coincide with the yearly “Cosplay Summit”, but this was postponed to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. However, since many cosplayers were looking forward to the event, the organization decided to hold the event in September, so that everybody will be able to enjoy the event with some peace of mind.

In addition, the hashtag #エアラグコス (#AIRRUGCOS) will be used, joining in on the popular trend of “air events” amongst cosplayers (during the ongoing corona situations, “air events” have been used to substitute some ongoing doujin and cosplay events, giving participants the experience of “participating” from home, by posting pictures of their cosplay, or links to their doujinshi, from home).
This way, people will be able to enjoy a taste of the event, even if it turns out to be difficult to attend the event in person.

“LAGCOS 2020” will be held at Laguna Ten Bosch from 10:00 A.M. on Sept. 12th till 6:00 A.M. on Sept. 13th. For further details on ticket fees and so on, please visit the special website.
