“Wonder Woman 1984” was announced to premiere in Japan on Jun. 12, 2020. In addition to the announcement, a new trailer and a new poster have been released.
The new trailer will be played on theaters in Japan alongside the trailer from another DC universe movie “Harley Quinn Birds of Prey”, which will premiere on Mar. 20.
The movie takes place in the year of 1984, featuring Wonder Woman as the main protagonist facing unprecedented dangers in epic battles to save the world from destruction.
Wonder Woman is depicted in all her splendidness, dodging bullets while controlling the Lasso of Truth skillfully, and jumping sky-high from an overturned truck in the trailer.
She is also shown in her bulletproof gold suit, making her seem invincible. However, even the most seemingly flawless heroes have weak points, which is set to be revealed in this new installment.
What roles in the story will have the mysterious reappearance of Wonder Woman's long lost love, Steve, and her archenemy, Cheetah? Will Wonder Woman be able to save the world from destruction in the face of a tremendous threat?
The highly-anticipated motion picture with its epic action scenes and dynamic is surely to become a new series masterpiece.
