From the collaboration between the TV anime “Bungo Stray Dogs” and Musashino Reiwa Shrine at Tokorozawa Sakura Town in Saitama, comes the cute gift that is perfect the year of the Tiger. It will be available only at the Musashino Reiwa Shrine from New Year’s Day of 2022.
The original work of “Bungo Stray Dogs” is a battle action work in which characters named after real-life literary giants such as Nakajima Atsushi, Dazai Osamu, and Akutagawa Ryunosuke are featured. The manga was first serialised by Asagiri Kafka and Harukawa Sango in Young Ace in 2013, and the series of related books has sold over 8.5 million copies.
In the future, a new season of the anime will be produced, and the first live-action film in the series, “Bungo Stray Dogs: BEAST”, will be released on January 7, 2022.
This collaboration between “Bungo Stray Dogs” and Musashino Reiwa Shrine is based on the fact that the Chinese zodiac sign for 2022 is the “tiger”, and the main character of “Bungo Stray Dogs”, Nakajima Atsushi, has a deep connection with the “tiger”. A ‘Stampbook’ with the designs of Nakajima Atsushi, Dazai Osamu, Akutagawa Ryunosuke, and Nakahara Chuya, a ‘Tiger Charm’ and a ‘Cherry Blossom Ema’ with their solo visuals are available.
The ceremony fee is 3,000 JPY for ‘Bungo Stray Dogs: Stampbook’, 800 JPY each for ‘Bungo Stray Dogs: Tiger Charm’, and 1,000 JPY each for ‘Bungo Stray Dogs: Cherry Blossom Ema’. These items will be available only at Musashino Seiwa Shrine from New Year’s Day. If you visit Musashino Reiwa Shrine on New Year’s Day, you will be able to get the collaboration gifts and start the New Year with the characters of ‘Bungo Stray Dogs’.
