From the Nintendo Switch software “Pokémon Scarlet Violet,” three types of “Pokémon Frappe” are available at Family Mart stores nationwide from April 25, 2023. Wrapping stores with Pokémon designs and original goods will also be available.

“Pokémon Scarlet Violet” is the latest title in the “Pokémon” series, released as Nintendo Switch software on November 18, 2022. It is the first open-world RPG in the series, and while it retains the true appeal of the “Pokémon” series, such as battling and capturing Pokémon, it allows players to enjoy even more advanced adventures to their heart’s content.

Family Mart “Frappe” is a frozen drink made by pouring milk from a coffee machine over ice in a cup. Launched in June 2014, total sales have exceeded 240 million cups; “Pikachu’s Pineapple Frappe,” launched in June 2022, became a hot topic, with total sales topping 2.5 million cups.

A total of three types of “Pokémon Frappe” with different textures are now available from “Pokémon Scarlet Violet”.
The “Muscat Frappe,” which is based on the image of the grass cat Pokémon “Sprigatito,” has a “plump” texture of muscat-flavored jelly; the “Strawberry Banana Frappe,” which is based on the image of the fire crocodile Pokémon “Fuecoco,” has a “gurgling” texture of strawberry fruit pulp; and the “Lemonade Soda Frappe,” which is based on the image of the baby duck Pokémon “Quaxly,” contains large grains of crunchy lemonade and pineapple pulp.

It is also important to note that each flavor contains yellow food with the image of Pikachu. Pikachu is designed on the cup along with each Pokémon. The cups also feature a different Pikachu expression for each flavor, in conjunction with the expressions of Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.

In addition, to celebrate the release of the “Pokémon Frappe,” three stores in Tokyo (Sunshine West Store and Sumida Oshiage Ekimae Store) and Osaka (Namba Sennichimae Dori Store) will be wrapping their stores with Pokémon designs for a limited time. In addition to designs tailored to each store, panels with Pokémon designs will also be used.

In addition, follow the official Family Mart Twitter account, attach an image of the “hidden monster ball” you found on the Frappe cup, and hashtag “#ポケモンフラッペ” and “#隠れモンスターボール発見” and quote the post with your thoughts on the drink. If you post an image of your Pokémon Frappe, you will be entered into a drawing to win a free Pokémon Frappe coupon for 100 people, and if you accumulate stamps on the Famipay app, you will be entered into a drawing to win an original Frappe cushion set, towel set, and more. We hope you will participate in this event when you purchase a “Pokémon Frappe”.

The three types of “Pokémon Frappe” are on sale at Family Mart stores nationwide from April 25.
