The production of the third season of the TV anime “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” (abbreviated as “Tensura”) has been decided. Along with this, a teaser visual depicting Hinata Sakaguchi confronting Rimuru has been released.
“That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” is an isekai entertainment manga about the main character Rimuru, who is reincarnated as a slime in another world. The story follows him as he uses the unique skills that he has acquired to gather allies.
The series began on the novel submission site “Shosetsuka ni Narou” (Become a Novelist) and has become a huge hit with a total of more than 30 million copies of manga, novels, and spin-offs in circulation.
The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2018 to March 2019, followed by the first part of the second season, the spin-off “Tensura Diary” and the second part from January to September 2021. In addition, the first theater production, “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond” is set to be released on November 25, 2022.
The production team announced the production of the third season and released a teaser visual, which depicts Hinata Sakaguchi confronting Rimuru.
