The official website of “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (a.k.a Tensura)” has announced that its first animated film will release in November 2022 with a title, “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bonds.” Its story will be a completely new work created by Fuse, the original writer of Tensura. A trailer featuring the original character created for the film has been released as well as the first key visual.

The original work of “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” is a web novel written by Fuse that has exceeded eight hundred million PV at a novel publishing website “Shosetsuka ni Naro (translation: Become a Novel Author)”.
The story is an “isekai reincarnation entertainment” that depicts the protagonist, who got reincarnated as a slime in another world, traveling and expanding his crew using the knowledge, courage, and skills he has acquired.
The theatrical version is based on a completely new story. A survivor of the demi-human race tribe Ogres, who calls himself Hiiro, appears before Rimuru, who evolved into a Demon Lord to save his colleagues and tells him that he was a big brother of Benimaru, and a new battle begins.

The trailer, which was disclosed along with the first key visual of the film, starts with the scene of a new country Razha that exists westward of Tempest, a country where Rimuru and his colleagues live.
Both the characters from the TV series and the new characters appear in the trailer, including Hiiro, the survivor of the Ogres, and the queen of Razha, who possesses a mysterious power.
Fans are more than excited to know how each character performs on the screen.

“That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bonds” will be released in November 2022.
