The special PV of the recompilation film “Re:cycle of the Penguindrum (Part 1) Kimi no Ressha wa Seizon Senryaku” (Released on April 29, 2022) of the original anime “Penguindrum” by director Ikuhara Kunihiko has been released.
“Penguindrum” is an original anime that was broadcast on TV in July 2011. This is a work that has attracted the attention of anime fans during the TV broadcast due to the unique characters drawn by Hoshino Lily, the riddle within riddles developments of “What’s ‘Penguindrum’?”, and the world setting that used a unique visual, such as the crystal world.
“Re:cycle of the Penguindrum” is a recompilation of the TV series with new original scenes, and it will be released in two parts.
In the special PV, it depicted the footage from the film inclusive of the film original footage. It will give you a glimpse on the story along with the 90 seconds edition of the theme song of part 2 “Boku no Sonzai Shoumei” by Yakushimaru Etsuko Metro Orchestra.
“Re:cycle of the Penguindrum (Part 1) Kimi no Ressha wa Seizon Senryaku” was released on April 29, 2022, while “Re:cycle of the Penguindrum (Part 2) Boku wa Kimi o Aishiteru” will be released on July 22, 2022.
