Now available from the TV anime “The New Prince of Tennis” are twin wafers with a card called “The New Prince of Tennis Twin Wafers”. Premium Bandai is now accepting reservations for a set of 20 wafers.

“The Prince of Tennis” is a tennis manga by Konomi Takeshi that was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” from 1999 to 2008. The sequel, “The New Prince of Tennis” again by Konomi Takeshi has been serialized in “JUMP SQ.” since 2009.

The TV anime series “The Prince of Tennis” began broadcasting on TV Tokyo-affiliated channels on October 10, 2001. The series has been supported by many fans over the years by holding events and releasing a movie version. On October 10, 2021, the anime series celebrated its 20th anniversary.

The TV series “The New Prince of Tennis U-17 WORLD CUP” is scheduled to start in July 2022 to mark the 20th anniversary of this memorable event, and will follow the story of the OVA series “The New Tennis Prince OVA vs Genius10”.
The new cast includes Seki Tomokazu, Kimura Subaru, Hanae Natsuki, and others.

“The New Prince of Tennis Twin Wafers” contains a total of 29 kinds of high-grade metallic plastic cards. 27 special cards and character cards with a watercolor finish. The snacks that come with the cards are two individually wrapped chocolate wafers.

The pictures on the cards include Echizen Ryoma, Tezuka Kunimitsu, and Fuji Shusuke of “Seishun Academy Junior High School,” Atobe Keigo of “Hyoutei Academy Secondary Department,” Yukimura Seiichi of “Rikkai University Junior High School,” Kite Eishiro of “Higa Junior High School,” Shiraishi Kuranosuke of “Shitenhoji Junior High School,” In “U-17” Oni Juujirou, Irie Kanata, Tokugawa Kazuya, Byodoin Houou, Echizen Ryoga and others.

Each piece is priced at 165 JPY (tax included). A 20-piece set is available for pre-order from Premium Bandai for 3,300 JPY (tax included) and will be released in August 2022.
