It was announced that the TV anime “Tomodachi Game” will start broadcasting on April 5. The key visual was released together with the comments of Mizuki Nana and saji, who are handling the opening theme and ending theme respectively.

“Tomodachi Game” is based on the manga by Yamaguchi Mikoto and Satou Yuuki that is currently being serialized on “Bessatsu Shounen Magazine”. This work becomes popular due to the stern betrayal and psychological warfare between good friends. The story depicts 5 high school students, Katagiri Yuuichi, Mikasa Tenji, Sawaragi Shiho, Shibe Makoto, and Kokorogi Yutori, who are close friends to each other being involved in the sudden, unreasonable debt payment game.

The live-action drama and two live-action films were produced in 2017, and this is the highly anticipated anime adaptation.
The cast members are Kobayashi Chiaki, Hamano Daiki, Miyamoto Yume, Ono Tomohiro, and Amano Satomi. The director is Ogura Hirofumi and the animation production is by Okuruto Noboru.

Along with the broadcast information, the key visual giving off a restless atmosphere has been released. It depicts the impressive unsettling smile of the 5 characters, Katagiri Yuuichi, Mikasa Tenji, Sawaragi Shiho, Shibe Makoto, and Kokorogi Yutori with the mysterious mascot “Manabu-kun” at the center. Furthermore, it was announced that the ending theme song will be “Tomoshibi” by saji, and the enthusiastic comments from Mizuki Nana and saji have been released.
