“Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 Sustainable War” will be screened exclusively for two weeks from November 12. The 2nd PV has been released, focusing on Batou of the Public Security Section 9.

“Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 Sustainable War” is an animated full-length film that was produced by adding new scenes to and reconstructing all the episodes of the 1st season of “Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045” (released in 2020), the first-ever full 3DCG anime in the “Ghost in the Shell” history.

Following the protagonist Kusanagi Motoko, the 2nd PV features Batou, a former member of the Rangers. Batou has artificial eyes called the unsleeping eyes and supports Kusanagi as her right-hand man in the Public Security Section 9.

As well as action scenes fully produced with 3DCG, the PV also features the interview footage with Otsuka Akio, who voiced the character.

Otsuka commented on Batou, who he has been playing the role of for years, “Batou-kun remains as he is. He is like enjoying leeway after being freed from constraints.” The PV allows you to see Batou’s free-spirited side, which was realized thanks to his artificial body.

The full-length animated film “Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 Sustainable War” will be screened exclusively for two weeks from Friday, November 12, 2021.
