From the fall anime “Shikizakura”, the outline and sneak peek of episode 2 “United Front / Tag” (broadcast began on Sunday, October 17) have been released.
“Shikizakura” is an original anime born in Nagoya (Tokai Area).
Set in Nagoya, the hero action story follows the protagonist Miwa Kakeru getting in the middle of a battle between Onis, who appear from a different world to feed on humans, and Yoroi, powered suits created by the fusion of an ancient alchemy and a cutting-edge technology.
Episode 2 is titled “United Front / Tag”.
Onis attempt to appear from “Kakuriyo” by possessing humans. To stop that, ”Shiro-gumi” members, dressed up in the powered suits, are having fierce battles all day. Kakeru gets filled with motivation, “I’ll be a hero!”.
However, his powered suit was possessed by Oni called “Ibara”. It is so dangerous that Hattori Ryo, the leader of “Shiro-gumi”, and Oka decided to seal Ibara off.
Kakeru, who has his power taken away, has been thrown back into the daily life with his dream of becoming a hero vanished…… Kakeru’s heart echoed with Ibara’s voice, and he perceives an emergency of Shiro-gumi. Hattori Ryo, the leader of “Shiro-gumi”, storms into the Esca Underground Shopping Center, which has become the land of eternity, in chase of his long-time enemy Oni.
However, it was a trap set by Onis. Kakeru, who got a push by his best friend Nagatsu Kippei, runs toward Esca.
Episode 2 “United Front / Tag” of “Shikizakura” began broadcasting from October 17 on Chukyo TV, Nippon TV, etc.
