It has been announced that “Yasuhiko Yoshikazu / Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN Exhibition” will be held at EJ Anime Museum in Tokorozawa Sakura Town, Saitama from January 22, 2022. A comment from Yasuhiko has also arrived.

“Yoshikazu Yasuhiko / Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN Exhibition”, which will commemorate the first anniversary of the opening of Tokorozawa Sakura Town, is a large-scale exhibition that traces the trajectory of “Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN” with overwhelming illustrations fully supervised by Yasuhiko.

Yasuhiko, who is currently working on the movie “Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island” that he is directing, said, “It’s been more than ten years since the serialization in ‘Gundam Ace’ magazine ended, and it’s been three years since the production of the ‘Past Arc’ OVA ended. However, I’ve received unchanging support from everyone, so I guess that’s why I’m doing this. I’m grateful for that.”

“Tokorozawa Sakura Town 1st Anniversary Yasuhiko Yoshikazu / Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin Exhibition” is scheduled to be held at the EJ Anime Museum from January 22 to March 21, 2022. Ticket information and other details will be announced in the December issue of “Gundam Ace”.

Yasuhiko Yoshikazu

Due to the persistent COVID-19 circumstances, many things are not going as planned these days.
I hope everyone is doing well.
Thanks to everyone, I am good and still working.
I heard that “THE ORIGIN Exhibition” will be held early next year (according to the schedule).
It’s been more than ten years since the serialization in “Gundam Ace” magazine ended.
It’s already been three years since the production of the “Past Arc” OVA ended.
However, since I have been receiving unchanging support from everyone,
I am grateful for that.
Since then, there have been some twists and turns in the visualization of the main Gundam story.
Currently, the film adaptation of “Cucuruz Doan’s Island” is underway.
I’ve been working remotely as much as possible against the COVID-19 situation.
I’m getting close to the end of the project.
The story will be nostalgic for old fans and fun for young people and children.
We look forward to seeing you next year with “THE ORIGIN Exhibition”.
