A live-broadcast program for the smartphone app game Puyo Puyo!! Quest, “Puyo Puyo!! Quest Official Live Broadcast – 8th Anniversary Popularity Poll Result Announcement Special” has been aired on June 18th. This article presents a summary of the latest information announced during the program.

Event Information

The releases of “Downtown Holy Beast ★7” on July 7th, “Midsummer Draco ★7” on July 13th, and “Bestor ★7” on July 20th were announced. All the characters were leveled up and will give players an advantage in the game.
Also, “Bestor’s Challenge” will take place from July 20th to August 9th. A new difficulty level has been added this time, making the quest even tougher and more challenging to accomplish.

Kemono Friends Pavilion 3 Collaboration

A collaborative event (started on June 17th) between the smartphone game “Kemono Friends Pavilion 3” and “Minna de Kemopuyo!” is currently happening since June 17th. Familiar characters from Puyo Puyo appear in the world of Kemono Friends Pavilion, and players can obtain items such as “Arle costume” and “furniture” as rewards for progressing through the event.

Teikou Penguin Collaboration

The continuation of the collaboration with the web animation “Teiko Penguin” was also announced. Arle and Carbuncle from Puyo Puyo will appear in the anime. The collaborative anime is scheduled to be released on July 2nd.

New Neon Art goods are now available

Puyo Puyo Neon Sign Art goods, such as metal badges, acrylic art boards, and other items with cute, colorful neon illustrations, are now available. For every purchase of 2,200 JPY (tax included) or more of these new products, buyers will receive one of the two types of bonus postcards as a present.

Nendoroid: Arle and Carbuncle

Good Smile Company’s figure series “Nendoroid” of Arle and Carbuncle is scheduled to release in October. The famous pose of Arle holding Carbuncle was recreated. The figure also comes with five colored gummy Puyos, and is priced at 5,800 JPY (tax included).

Puyo Puyo!! Quest – Papyrus Contest

Puyo Puyo!! Quest Papyrus Contest has been announced. Anyone can participate in the contest by posting their original papyrus on Twitter with the hashtag “#PuyoPuyoQuestPapyrusContest”.
There will be one Grand Prize winner and two Excellence Prizes winners, and those whose papyrus has been selected will receive a set of magic stones, staff T-shirts, and jerseys as presents. The application will close on July 11th. The results are scheduled to be announced in early August.

SEGA Collaboration

A SEGA Collaboration will take place from June 23th to July 7th. As a commemoration event, SEGA characters who have appeared in Puyo Puyo!! Quest in the past will reappear. Limited stories and quests will also be reintegrated. The new event features the “★6 Love and Berry” from “Oshare Majo: Love and Berry”, the “★6 Matoi” and the “★6 Kuna” from Phantasy Star Online 2.
Players who log in during the event will receive Lappy from “Phantasy Star Online 2”, and players completing the “Bingo Mission” will receive Popo and the Mushi King from “Mushiking: The King of Beetles”.

For the Raid event, “★7 Ichiro Okami” from Sakura Wars and “★7 Chain Chronicle Main Protagonist” from “Chain Chronicle” will be available after completing a limited mission. There will also be a giveaway on Twitter.

8th Anniversary Character Popularity Poll Results

During the broadcast, the results of the character popularity contest held to celebrate the 8th anniversary were also announced. First place goes to Rafisol, who is planned to appear in the game in a special costume.
