<Here is a part of the interview.>
Rio / Amakawa Haruto: Matsuoka Yoshitsugu
Q1. Please introduce about the character you are playing.
Talking about Rio, I have sympathy for his life.
There are many children who experience a similar life as him in reality, and my first impression for 1st episode was ‘What a painful beginning…!’.
However, after Haruto awakened to his past memories, he built an unbeatable heart and strength.
As he meets more and more people, he is getting stronger and more thoughtful. But, the harder he tries, the more problems are present, so I cannot take my eyes off him.
Q2. Do you have anything you keep in your mind when you are playing the character?
I’m playing the role, keeping in mind that he is a warm-hearted boy.
He has a gap that he never holds back when something special for him is trampled on or in danger, so I try to appreciate both Rio and Haruto’s thoughts.
Q3. What things can you relate to and cannot relate to about the character?
This is just my interpretation, but he is not willing to get involved with others, and he is fine if some precious ones are around him. This is kind of what I can relate to. Also, I feel annoyed if ‘the work=precious, precious=staff and other cast members’ are trampled on. When I think twice about it, we are two of a kind.
