The release date of the TV anime “Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World” 2nd season has been decided on Jul. 8, 2020. In addition, the key visual, the promotion video, and the setting drawing for few characters have been revealed.
“Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World” is based on the novel written by Nagatsuki Tappei and drawn by Ootsuka Shinichirou.
The protagonist, Natsuki Subaru, is suddenly summoned to another world on his way home from a convenience store. Subaru, with the the ability to re-do his life, faces and goes against a cruel fate to save his friends.
The broadcast date, key visual, and promotion video have been announced this time.
In addition, the setting drawing for the following characters have been released also: the merchant with no luck called Otto Suwen (CV: Amasaki Kouhei), Roswaal Home's new maid, Petra Leyte (CV: Kouno Marika), Ram and Rem's senior maid Frederica Bauman (CV: Nazuka Kaori), the violent, short-tempered young man that like to make fun of Subaru called Garfield Tinsel (CV: Okamoto Nobuhiko), the girl who knew Garfield for a long time called Lewes Bilma (CV: Tanaka Aimi), and the mysterious lady who invites Subaru to her tea party called Ekidona (CV: Sakamoto Maaya).
First half of “Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World” 2nd season will start from Jul. 8, and the later half will be broadcast from Jan. 2021 on AT-X, TOKYO MX, BS11, ABEMA, d-Anime Store, and other channels.
