6 new scene pictures have arrived from the animation movie “In This Corner (and other corners) of the World”. You can catch a glimpse of the emotions and thoughts of the characters depicted within the beautiful scenery of the 4 seasons.
The story of “In This Corner (and other corners) of the World”, which is scheduled to be released on Dec. 20, is set in Kure, Hiroshima during World War II. The movie is new animation movie with new episodes, which describes the deep emotion of Suzu, who loses what is precious to her while trying to survive the war.
The previous movie “In This Corner of the World”, was released on Nov. 12, 2016, and won multiple awards such as the Japan Academy Award-Best Animation Movie Prize, Festival International du Film d’Animation d’Annecy Best Movie Award and also won 70+ awards both inside and outside of Japan.
The movie is still shown in movie theaters in Japan, gaining support from fans and movie theaters even though 1000 or more days have passed since its release.
The new movie, “In This Corner (and other corners) of the World”, has new episodes mainly of the three characters; Suzu, Rin, and Shusaku. Having “Secrets of the Hearts” added, the story turned into humane drama with interaction of complex emotions.
