The release of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Nichirin Blade’s Kashisetsuna/ Youkan ~2~” filled with the metal Kashisetsuna (the pick use to pick up Japanese dessert) inspired by the “Nichirin Blade” from “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” and Youkan, has been announced. Pre-orders are currently available on “Premium Bandai”.
The product “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Nichirin Blade’s Kashisetsuna/ Youkan ~2~” is the 2nd release of the set of the metal “Kashisetsuna”, inspired by the “Nichirin Blade” that is used by the members of the Demon Slayer Corps., and the “Youkan” which are inspired by the members.
The lineup consists of the Nichirin Blades of Tanjirou, Shinobu, Kanao, and Rengoku. The blade part of the Kashisetsuna is 140 mm long and made of metal which can actually be used to “cut” the Youkan, and it is made in Tsubame City, Niigata that is famous for metal cutlery.
The 4 types of Nichirin Blade are recreated faithfully from the blade part to the visor and pattern. Also, a Kashisetsuna holder, which is inspired by Shinobu’s butterfly hairpin will be included as well.
The black sword of Tanjirou that was famous in the previous release has gotten a matte coloring on the handle with the “Black Oxidation Coloring” process that gives off a black shine, and the Kashisetsuna holder that is inspired by Nezuko’s bamboo will get a pearl coating.
The is are available in a bite-able size and it comes in 5 flavors, which are mashed boiled green soybeans, brown sugar, purple-fleshed sweet potato, salt, and sweet potato.
“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Nichirin Blade’s Kashisetsuna/ Youkan ~2~” is priced at 7,990 JPY (tax included/ delivery and handling fees excluded). Pre-orders are currently available on “Premium Bandai” and the shipping is scheduled for March 2022.
