To celebrate the 10th anniversary of director Hosoda Mamoru’s original feature film “SUMMER WARS”, a pop-up store featuring a lineup of new goods that utilize the series’ world view and characters will be held at Shibuya Parco 6F Tokyo Otaku Mode TOKYO from Jan. 24, 2020.
SUMMER WARS is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its movie release, and various projects are in progress until the summer of 2020. This time, new goods that utilize this work’s world view and characters have appeared in the pop-up store. A three-dimensional cushion sized like you can embrace John and Yoko, the guardians of OZ, and a large lug with a diameter of 160 cm that is boldly printed with a full view of OZ, and Kokeshis, which were reproduced based on the avatars of Kenji, Natsuki, King Kazma and Fake Kenji who are very active in OZ, were also lined up.
Besides those, a necklace inspired by the “key of OZ”, earrings that reproduce the rare items of Kichijo given toNatsuki when he played Hanafuda with Love Machine, and a hail based on a floating star are also available.
Also, at the pop-up store, you will receive a Tokyo Otaku Mode TOKYO-limited “Avatar Tin Badge” (30 types) for every 1,000 JPY (tax included) worth of goods purchased. Premium Art Pouches, which are scheduled to be released as capsule toys from early Feb. 2020, will be pre-sold, so please check them out.
The 10th anniversary pop-up store of “SUMMER WARS” will be held at Tokyo Otaku Mode TOKYO, Shibuya Parco 6F from Jan. 24, 2020 to Feb. 11, 2020.
