The anime “Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam” will release “Hyakushiki Golden Track Jacket,” a golden jacket inspired by Hyakushiki. The item is now available for pre-order on Bandai’s character fashion site “BANCOLLE!”.
“Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam” is a new series that was broadcast from 1985 to 1986, five years after the end of “Mobile Suit Gundam,” and celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2020. The story depicts the space century seven years after the previous series, with new characters such as Camille. In addition, characters from the previous series, such as Char and Amuro appear as their older selves.
The MS and MA in this series gained fans’ support for the gimmicks including variable mechanisms and the detailed settings. It has established “Space Century” as a historical system, of which the timeline was reflected in subsequent works.
A trilogy of film versions was also produced from 2005 to 2006, re-editing the main story and adding new cuts.
The “Hyakushiki Golden Track Jacket,” which is now available for pre-order, is a track jacket based on the “MSN-00100 Hyakushiki,” a weapon that appears in the film.
The jacket is made of shiny gold fabric and features the kanji “Hyaku” on the chest. On the back is the model number as well as the mark of the anti-Earth Federation organization “A.E.U.G.”.
The jacket is made of jersey fabric, making it suitable for any situation. Wearing this item, fans will be able to feel like they are Hyakushiki.
The “Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: Hyakushiki Golden Track Jacket” will be sold for 9,350 yen including tax. The shipping and other fees will be charged separately. Pre-order is open until November 14 at 11 p.m. on “BANCOLLE!,” and the shipping is scheduled for March 2023.
