From “Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie” (to be released on December 24), the key visual of all the characters gathered together has been revealed. Along with it, a comment from director Park Sunghoo has arrived.
The TV anime “Jujutsu Kaisen” is based on the same title manga serialized on Shueisha’s “Weekly Shonen Jump” by Akutami Gege. The story that depicts the battle between the curses born from negative emotions of humans and the Jujutsu Sorcerers who try to exorcise them started in March 2018 and currently has 17 volumes with 5.5 million copies in circulation.
The first movie of the series, which is set to be released on December 24, 2021, is a film adaptation of the prequel of “Jujutsu Kaisen”, “Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School”.
The key visual of the movie has been released. The catchphrase, “Curse each other with all you’ve got” has a strong impact, which is perfect for this film that depicts the battle between the Jujutsu Sorcerers, mainly from the Curse Technical School, and Getou Suguru, the worst of the Curse Users who make a living by cursing people to death. The impressive visual with all the characters feature Okkotsu holding a sword and accompanied by Special Grade Cursed Spirit Rika, Maki, Toge, Panda, in battle stance, Gojou exposing one eye from under his white bandage that covers his eyes, suggesting the beginning of a battle, and Getou wearing an evil aura with one of his eyes glowing in red.
Along with the release of the visual, director Park Sunghoo said, “We are now hard at work on ‘Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie’. The entire staff is working together to get the film ready for the release on December 24, so please come to the theaters and enjoy it!”
The Movie Ticket Card-shaped advance ticket featuring this key visual will be sold exclusively at theaters from December 3. If you are interested, check out the official website for details.
“Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie” will be in nationwide theaters from December 24, 2021.
