The first animated teaser PV of TV anime “Summer Time Rendering” has been revealed with the announcement on the portion of the staff, including the director Watanabe Ayumu.
“Summer Time Rendering” is based on the science-fiction suspense manga by Tanaka Yasunori that was serialized on “Shounen Jump+” and has gotten more than 130 million PV. Together with the final chapter on February 1, 2021, the “anime adaptation” and “live-action adaptation” were announced, and these announcements had caused a ruckus on the web and social networks, as it had even become a trend on Twitter.
The teaser PV started with the scenes of the prologue of the story as Ajiro Shinpei returns to his hometown, Hitogashima in Wakayama Prefecture.
It also depicts that his childhood friend Kofune Ushio is nowhere to be found among the sceneries that remain unchanged during the 2 years of his absence, and ended with the appearance of the sinister black existence that looks like the “rumor of the shadow” that was passed down in the island.
Along with the release of the PV, a portion of the staff was revealed. The director is Watanabe Ayumu (known for “Space Brothers” and “Children of the Sea”), series composition and script are by Seko Hiroshi (known for “Jujutsu Kaisen” and “Attack on Titan Final Season”. the character design by Matsumoto Miki (known for “Major 2nd (TV) 2nd Season” and “Angels of Death”), the art by Kusanagi, music by Okabe Keiichi, Takada Ryuuichi, Hoashi Keigo, and the music production cooperation is MONACA.
TV anime “Summer Time Rendering” is scheduled to be broadcast in 2022. As the moving appearance of the characters has been revealed, this will surely draw the anime under the spotlight.
