We’re more than halfway through September, and the season is becoming autumn-like.

Anime!Anime! has been conducting surveys about characters related to the number of the month. There are also many characters associated with the number 9 too, such as being the ninth member of the group, having the letter “九” in their name, or being the leader of a group of 9.

“I love how he is professional and serious, but has a kindis kind at heart,”, and “The gap between his perfection as an idol and his kind nature of caring for his little brother and friends makes him even more fascinating, “are comments that show how his stoic personality and the feelings he hides within him gained him support.

He’s surprisingly bad at studying, but his presence on the court is so reliable that it makes me wonder if he’s really a freshman.”

■Here are some comments for other characters!!

For Midoriya Izuku from “My Hero Academia”, “He’s the ninth successor of the Quirk All for One, which used to belong to All Might. Also, his name Izuku has ku=9.”
For Kyuuta from “The Boy and the Beast”, “How he was named Kyuuta by Kumatetsu when he wandered into Juutengai just for being nine years old was interesting. The name was taken from his age but somehow matches him perfectly, and I thought it was a good name that leaves an impression on the viewers.”

For Hyoudou Kumon from “A3!”, “Not only does he have 九 in his name, but he also wears clothes with 9, is called Kyuu-chan by the other members, and even has his own invention ‘Radio Calisthenics 9′. There are a lot of scenes that make me think he likes the number 9.”
A character from a classic anime, Shimamura Joe from “Cyborg 009” also made the list, “He’s the leader of Cyborg 009 and his code number is 009. The title has several anime adaptations, and how he fights with his acceleration module was amazing.”

In addition to characters with the number 9 in their names, fans voted for characters for various reasons such as, Kageyama Tobio from “Haikyuu!!” whose uniform number is 9, and Toujou Nozomi from “Love Live!” who is the godmother of the group of 9 and the last to join the group in the anime.
