“Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash” (to be released on May 7, 2021) has released the first 15 minutes and 53 seconds of the film for free ahead of its release.
The original story of “Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash” is a novel of the same title written by Tomino Yoshiyuki, which deeply inherits the world view of “Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack,” which depicts the final battle between Amuro and Char.
The story depicts the new battle being waged by the anti-Earth Federation government movement “Mufti” on the vertical axis, and the intersecting fates of its leader Hathaway Noa, the mysterious beautiful girl Gigi Andalucia, and Federation Colonel Kenneth Sleg on the horizontal axis.
In the beginning of the film, we see Hathaway, Gigi, Kenneth, and others meeting on the way to Earth. It also shows the “one incident” that starts the story.
“Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash” will be on screenreleased on May 7 at all Roadshow theaters, and on the same day a limited edition Blu-ray will also be sold at all theaters that screen the filmreleased. As a bonus, the novel “Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash”, volume 1 and a newly recorded reading CD will be included.
