The collaboration between “Higurashi When They Cry” and Sanrio Puroland have been announced. A new visual contained the phrase that said, “Sanrio Puroland will be opened in Hinamizawa!?” has been unveiled.
Hinamizawa is the location where the continuous mysterious deaths and missing residents, known as “curse of Oyashiro”, took place after a struggle over construction of a dam.
You may think what kind of a disaster will take place over the construction of Sanrio Puroland, but this picture was created as a April fool project. Sadly, Sanrio Puroland will not be constructed in Hinamizawa.
But luckily, Furude Rika and Kuromi, Houjou Satoko and Pochakko, Ryuuguu Rena and Hello Kitty, and Sonozaki Mion and Cinamonroll all formed the pairs.
The latest series of “Higurashi When They Cry” called “Higurashi When They Cry Sotsu” will be broadcast from July 2021.
