Disney Animation’s latest work “Raya and the Last Dragon” has been released on March 5, 2021. To commemorate the release, the special footage of the cast member and production staff talk about their thoughts on this work, has been released.

“Raya and the Last Dragon” is the latest film of Disney Animation after 1 year and a half since “Frozen”, “Moana”, and “Frozen II”.
In order to reunite the kingdom that was separated, the daughter of the “Dragon Gem” guardian tribe, Raya becomes the “lone” savior as she embarks on an adventure to find the legendary “last dragon” Sisu, who holds the key to reunite the kingdom.

In the special footage, the passionate comments from Kelly Marie Tran, the voice of the main protagonist Raya, and Awkwafina, the voice of the legendary “last dragon” Sisu, can be heard.

Also, the thoughts of the production staff, who created the beautiful scenery that is unlike an animation as well as the tremendous action of Raya, could also be heard.
In this difficult situation, where it hard to get together and produce, the more than 400 staff have done the work at their homes instead.

Kelly praised it by saying “This is the movie that should be watched now”. Toward this work, which was born in a period where human communication has decreased and it difficult to meet up with friends and family, Kelly also commented “This is a work that tell you the importance of looking at the world differently”, which will surely move your heart.

“Raya and the Last Dragon” is currently available on Japan nationwide theatres. It can also be watched on “Disney Plus Premium Access”.
