The title for the latest “Crayon Shin-chan” movie has been decided to be “Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Mystery! Blooming Tenkasu Academy”, and the release date, the visual, and the promotion movie were revealed at the same time. This movie will be the first realistic school mystery in the Crayon Shin-chan series.
“Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Mystery! Blooming Tenkasu Academy” will be directed by Takahashi Wataru, who has directed “Crayon Shin-chan Serious Battle! Robot Dad Strikes Back” and “Crayon Shin-chan: Fast Asleep! The Great Assault on the Dreaming World!”, and written by Ueno Kimiko, who also wrote “Crayon Shin-chan: My Moving Story! Cactus Large Attack!” and “Crayon Shin-chan: Honeymoon Hurricane ~The Lost Hiroshi~”.
This is the 29th movie, which the two directors from the regularly-aired TV series cooperated, and also the first realistic (part of) school mystery.
This movie is about Shinnosuke and his friends, Kasukabe Defense Force, who will enter “Tenka Touitsu Kasukabe Academy”, the super-elite private border school, for one week as a trial.
The members of Kasukabe Defense Force enter the academy will full of dream, but what awaited them were the mysterious cases.
The visual with Kasukabe Defense Force wearing the noble school uniform of TenKasu Academy and the promotion movie were released.
Can Shinnosuke and the Kasukabe Defense Force, in other words, “Kasukabe Detective Club” completely solve the mysterious cases?
High expectation rises toward the first mystery movie in the series.
“Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Mystery! Blooming Tenkasu Academy” will be released on Apr. 23, 2021. The sale of pre-tickets will begin on Dec. 25, 2020, in the movie theaters, which also will come with the gift of “Why don’t you wipe away your sweat and tears? Youth is Mystery? Handkerchief”.

I started producing this movie when I casually thought, “what would happen to the unstable kids in middle school when Shin-chan and his friends interacted with them?”.
I later realized that I am working toward the new genre, the youth school mystery.
I am pretty excited.
Shinnosuke will rush through the school mystery with dream, hope, anxiety, failure, love, and gangs, together with energy and little of stupidity.
I believe now is a great time to deliver Shin-chan’s joke power to the fans all over Japan.

Although we say that we are trying for the realistic school mystery, the reality is that the part of the movie is realistic, and this is a new-sensational joke-mystery solving movie which the fans can enjoy it with laughter.
