It was revealed that broadcasting will start on the ABC TV / TV Asahi affiliated 24 stations nationwide “ANiMAZiNG !!!” frame from January 9, 2021.
“SK8 the Infinity” is a youth-oriented original anime with the “Skateboard battle” as it theme, directed by Utsumi Hiroko, known for “Free!” and “BANANA FISH”, and created by Bones, known for “Eureka Seven” and “My Hero Academia”.
Reki, a 2nd year high school student who loves skateboarding, and Langa, a transfer student from Canada who has never tried skateboard, are caught up in the enthusiasm of the dangerous top-secret race “S” that slides down a closed mine on a skateboard.
The main casts announced this time include Hatanaka Tasuku as Reki and Kobayashi Chiaki as Langa, Nagatsuka Takuma as Miya, Miyake Kenta as Shadow, Midorikawa Hikaru as Cherry blossom, Matsumoto Yasunori as Joe, Koyasu Takehito as Adam, and Ono Kensho as Kikuchi Atsushi.
2nd PV was released along with the announcement of broadcast on the advertisement CM in the “ANiMAZiNG !!!” frame, and the characters voices were unveiled for the first time in this video.
