“Nostalgic Showa/Heisei Anime Cel Exhibition”, the exhibition and sales event of works loved in the Showa and Heisei eras such as Studio Ghibli works (eg. “My Neighbor Totoro” and “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind”), and “One Piece” will be held at Shinjuku/Odakyu Department Store Shinjuku from Jul. 22, 2020.

In this project, approximately 80 pieces of anime cels and hand-drawn drafts of manga from the Showa and Heisei eras are exhibited all together. It aims to become a place where people from adults to children can touch the Japanese subculture and share the “impression” back in the days.

At the venue, there will be the studio Ghibli works such as “My Neighbor Totoro” and “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind,” and Matsumoto Reiji's works, the cel segment such as “Lupin the Third” and “One Piece”, as well as the hand-drawn drafts segment of Mizuki Shigeru and Akatsuka Fujio's works, and there will be a segment set up for exhibition and selling each work.

The “Nostalgic Showa/Heisei Anime Cel Exhibition” will be held from Jul. 22 to Aug. 4, 2020 at Exhibition Hall of the Odakyu Department Store Shinjuku Store Main Building 11F. Admission is free.
