The latest chapter of Sakura Mommoko’s 『Chibi Maruko-chan』,『Chibi Maruko-chan Let’s Throw a Halloween Party Chapter』will be published on the November issue of Shojo manga magazine Ribon. The writing will be based on Sakura Momoto’s anime script, which will be newly adapted into a manga by Sakura Productions.
A comic by Sakura,『Chibi Maruko-chan』was first published in 1986 by Shojo manga magazine Ribon. The latest work 『Chibi Maruko-chan Let’s Throw a Halloween Party Chapter』is an adaption based on a script for a televised anime broadcast on Oct. 10, 1995 written by Sakura. During her years, Sakura had a wish “I want to make the anime script into a manga with my own hands”. Sakura Productions will take on this role to make this wish into a reality.
The latest manga『Chibi Maruko-chan Let’s Throw a Halloween Party Chapter』will be published on the November issue of Ribon, which will be on sale Oct. 3, 2019. This magazine will also irregularly publish the latest chapters of『Chibi Maruko-chan』.

We have adapted many works and scripts that Sakura written herself for the anime 『Chibi Maruko-chan』, which we want people to enjoy even in manga form.
We have always wanted to deliver works adapted to manga and take on Sakura’s wish. This time with the help of Ribon’s editorial department, we can finally realize that wish.
