It turns out that the latest movie from **Crayon Shin-chan the Movie** series will be the 28th titled **Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Clash! Doodle Kingdom and the Four’ish Heroes** and will be released in 2020 during the Golden Week holidays. The world of the dream that everyone has dreamt once before “if only the pictures I drew came to life…” will be imagined under the direction of Takahiko Kyogoku, who previously directed the well-known series **Love Life!** and ** Land of the Lustrous**.

The theme of the movie **Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Clash! Doodle Kingdom and the Four’ish Heroes** will focus on the dream that anyone has imagined at least once “if only the pictures I drew came to life…”. A commotion causing 5 year old child, Nohara Shinnosuke draws an exciting world using his crayon.

This time, the released visuals depict an upside down kingdom that exists far above the sky called “Doodle Kingdom”. While people on the surface desperately run away escaping from the encroaching Doodle Kingdom, with his shining crayon, Shinnosuke uses all his power to doodle.

Can the power of Shinnosuke’s crayon save everyone? And will the savior and hero “Buriburizaemon” be the key to this story?
The mystery is far from being wrapped up as the “ish” in the title stands out, however, it looks like the latest theatrical release will anticipate an unprecedented combination between “Doodling” and “Shin-chan”.

This movie will be directed by Takahiko Kyogoku, who previously worked on **Love Life!** and **Land of the Lustrous**, and the script will be written by Takada Ryo, who previously worked on **Cannonball Wedlock** and **The Light Shines Only There**.
Director Kyogoku, who is directing **Crayon Shin-chan the Movie** for the first time commented “I’m very thrilled to be working on this, all of our staff will do our best and look forward to its completion”. Takada added “I get played around by the unpredictable speech and actions of Shin-chan but I believed in his wild ideas that have a great influence on the story and I so I kept writing. Anyone can become a hero if they do their best!”.
In 2020, stay tuned for **Crayon Shin-chan the Movie**featuring a duo that no one expects.

**Director Takahiko Kyogoku**
It’s a pleasure for me to work as a director of this movie! I previously participated as a TV series producer so it doesn’t really feel new or strange for me. I’m very thrilled to be working on this, all of our staff will do our best and look forward to its completion. The title of this work “Crayon” stirs up a big affair. What is the true nature of the castle that floats in the sky..!? Even Buriburizaemon will appear! A brand new story born from Shinnosuke and his companions. Enjoy the movie!

**Scriptwriter Takada Ryo**
I usually write scripts for live-action so I was honestly surprised at this request. I thought that it was a chance for me to write an unbelievable story that I can’t usually write so I accepted it with two replies. I get played around by the unpredictable speech and actions of Shin-chan but I believed in his wild ideas that have a great influence on the story and I so I kept writing. Anyone can become a hero if they do their best!

**Shin-Ei Animation Producer Kondo Keiichi**
For this movie I called on Takahiko Kyogoku to be the new director and Takada Ryo for the script! The direction of the movie, which draws out the maximum charm in Director Kyogoku’s characters, gets us up close with 5 year old Shin-chan and makes us feel new and nostalgic by giving the sense that Shin-chan is just like our friend. The developments that I couldn’t read beforehand in Takada’s script always surprises me. It was impressive to see Takada enjoy himself while writing the free-spirited Shinnosuke, who surprises us with his actions. I get excited when I feel like I’m on an adventure with Shin-chan, of continuous fun that I can’t wait to see what will happen. These two will form a team and draw Crayon Shin-chan! Kyogoku’s direction gets us up close with characters! Takada’s writing brings uncertain, heart-throbbing, exciting twists! Please by all means have a look at this chemical reaction at theatres!
