OWNDAYS Online Store is now accepting pre-orders for the “Bandai Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Glasses Collection,” glasses featuring images of the main characters from the TV anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba”. The company started taking pre-orders for the Rengoku Kyoujyurou model on February 11, and there will be 7 models in all.
The “Bandai Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Glasses Collection” features a total of seven models: Kamado Tanjirou, Kamado Nezuko, Agatsuma Zenitsu, Hashibira Inosuke, Tomioka Giyuu, Kochou Shinobu, and Rengoku Kyoujyurou. The frames are designed with detailed designs of each character, including their respective haori and nichirin sword, and each frame comes with an original case and glasses cleaning cloth with logo.
The Rengoku model is a brow-type frame with a design that looks like a condensed flame. The metal parts in the shape of Rengoku’s characteristic eyebrows are the key point, and the luxurious champagne gold frame symbolizes the nobility of Rengoku.
The tip of the frame is also stained with flames, with the word “Annihilation” as a single point. This item expresses the red-hot way of life of a proud swordsman.
The Tanjirou model is an easy-to-fit Boston frame made of acetate fabric and metal material. The glossy black color is inspired by the image of Tanjirou’s nichirin sword, and the red color of the handle accents the eyes.
The temples have metal parts in the shape of the sword’s flange, and the inside is decorated with the trademark checkered pattern.
The Nezuko model features a soft pink color that matches the color of her kimono, giving a soft impression of a Boston frame.
The side of the temples are made of a metal material that resembles bamboo, which was added by Tomioka Yoshio. On the inside, the checkered obi that Nezuoko wears is reproduced. It is a lovely piece that gives a gorgeous impression.
The Zenitsu model is a stylish one, featuring the gradation of the front and the crown-pant shape that has been in fashion in recent years. The yellow hilt of Zenitsu’s nichirin sword accents the eyes, and metal parts in the shape of the hand guard are embedded in the temples.
The Inosuke model is a sharp square-shaped frame that is typical of Inosuke’s lean and rash style. The metal temples, which resemble jagged blades made of stone, are wrapped in a clear-colored acetate material.
The Giyuu model is a Wellington-type frame with a classy blue color like the melancholy blue eyes of Giyuu, the pillar of water. The eyes are accentuated with a motif of the hilt of a nichirin sword, and the surface and inside of the temples are decorated with a half red, half tortoise shell patterned haori design.
The Shinobu model is a feminine Boston-shaped frame with a bright purple color inspired by her in Mushibashira. On the inside of the metal part of the temple, there is a detailed weave design that resembles butterfly wings.
The price is 22,000 JPY for the Rengoku model only, and 13,500 JPY for the others (excluding tax). The pre-order period is until March 1, and shipping will begin in April. They will be available in stores on April 1.
