A POP-UP STORE for the movie “THE FIRST SLAM DUNK” will be held from February 3, 2023, at the event space on the B1 floor of NAGOYA PARCO East Building in Aichi, Japan. It will sell a variety of limited merchandise, including the second volume of movie theater original merchandise, which is currently on sale at movie theaters nationwide.

“THE FIRST SLAM DUNK” is an anime movie based on the shonen comic “SLAM DUNK” by Inoue Takehiko, which was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” from issue 42 in 1990 to issue 27 in 1996. The comic depicts the personal growth of high school basketball players and is known for being a blockbuster hit in Japan, with over 120 million copies of the series sold in total.

The film was directed and scripted by the author Inoue himself, with character design and animation direction by Ebara Yasuyuki, character designer for “Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress” and animation director and action animation director for “Attack On Titan.” The voice actors include Nakamura Shugo as Miyagi Ryota, Kasama Jun as Mitsui Hisashi, Kamio Shinichiro as Rukawa Kaede, Kimura Subaru as Sakuragi Hanamichi, and Miyake Kenta as Akagi Takenori.

‘”THE FIRST SLAM DUNK” POP-UP STORE’ will feature a variety of merchandise exclusive to the store, including the second volume of movie theater original merch that has been on sale at movie theaters nationwide since January 21.

The limited items for the POP UP STORE include “MOVIE T-shirt (white)” and “MOVIE Hoodie (light gray,)” which the colors are exclusive to this store. There will also be “acrylic board” and “mat tin badge (random, 6 types in total.)” It is a must-visit event for the fans.

The POP-UP STORE for the movie “THE FIRST SLAM DUNK” will be held from February 3 to February 19 at the event space on the B1 floor of NAGOYA PARCO East Building of Aichi, Japan. Check the website for details.
