IDOLiSH7’s first theater concert, “IDOLiSH7 the Movie LIVE 4bit BEYOND THE PERiOD,” will come out on May 20, 2023. The main visual, trailer, and merchandise information were released with the announcement.
“IDOLiSH7” is a cross-media project based on a full-voice acting rhythm game for smartphones. The player becomes an agent of a boy idol group and joins them to pursue their dreams. The app celebrated the 7th anniversary of its release in August 2022, and the main storyline, which started in 2015, came to a close at the end of 2022.
This time, “IDOLiSH7” has announced the release of its first theater performance, “IDOLiSH7 the Movie LIVE 4bit BEYOND THE PERiOD,” on May 31, 2023. A “dream live performance of 16 members from IDOLiSH7, TRIGGER, Re:vale, and ZOOL,” told in the 6th part of the main story of the app released at the end of 2022, has quickly come into reality. Orange, a production company behind the music video for “Mr. AFFECTiON” of IDOLiSH7, as well as anime “BEASTARS” and “Land of the Lustrous,” will be in charge of the film production.
The trailer disclosed this time includes images from past music videos and “BLACK or WHITE LIVE SHOWDOWN,” which was performed at the end of 2022. At its end, some scenes from the film are shown in advance.
In addition, the pre-orders of various types of merchandise will start on January 10, 2023, featuring 16 members from all four groups. Moreover, the first movie ticket will go on sale on January 14. An A4-size clear folder with the main visual of the film printed on it is distributed as a special offer to those who purchase it.
