The Japanese sweets series with the motif of the characters of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba”, known as “Tabemasu Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba 2022” has been announced. Hashibira Inosuke has made his first appearance in the “Tabemasu” series.

“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” is a manga by Gotouge Koyoharu that was serialized in “Jump”. The animation is by ufotable, and the sequel to the “Mugen Train Arc”, “Entertainment District Arc” started broadcasting in December 2021. After the broadcast of episode 1, the Sound Hashira Uzui Tengen (voiced by Konishi Katsuyuki), who is undergoing a mission with Tanjirou and others in the “Entertainment District Arc”, and the latest opening “Zankyou Sanka” by Aimer have become a trend and it shows that this series has caught the attention of many.

“Tabemasu Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba 2022” expressed the charm points of the 3 characters, which are the main protagonist Kamado Tanjirou, Agatsuma Zenitsu, and Hashibira Inosuke, in a cute and plump manner. This is the 2nd time that Agatsuma Zenitsu has appeared in the series while it is the first appearance of Hashibira Inosuke in the series.
Every detail on the sweets are recreated faithfully via the edible paste, such as the scar on Tanjiro’s forehead and his earring, the vivid hair color of Zenitsu and the pattern of his haori and kimono, and Inosuke’s boar head and fur.

The fillings of the sweets are chocolate for Kamado Tanjirou, custard for Agatsuma Zenitsu, and milk for Hashibira Inosuke that will have a delicate after-taste that is unique to Japanese sweets.

“Tabemasu Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba 2022 (3 types)” is priced at 285 JPY (tax included) and will be available nationwide in Lawson stores from January 11 to January 17, 2022.
During the same period mentioned above, “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Seal Tart ~2nd Series~ (1 type)” will also be available in nationwide Lawson stores and the price is 298 JPY (tax included).
