From the TV anime “Kingdom”, the main visual of the second half of the anime has been released, depicting the King of Qin Dynasty, Ei Sei, issuing a proclamation. In addition, a new PV has been unveiled.
The original work of “Kingdom” is a Chinese Warring States romance serialized by Hara Yasuhisa in “Weekly Young Jump”, which has sold over 83 million copies in total.
Set in China during the Spring and Autumn Warring States Period, the story follows the exploits of Shin (CV: Morita Masakazu), a young boy who aims to become a great general, and Ei Sei (CV: Fukuyama Jun), a young king who will later become the First Emperor. The third series of the TV anime, ” Coalition Invasion Arc”, which is said to be the biggest battle in the series, has been aired since April 2021, following the first series from June 2012 to February 2013, and the second series from June 2013 to March 2014.
The main visual for the latter half of the season has been released.
The visual looks as if you are in the front row watching one of the most famous scenes of the war, Ei Sei’s “Proclamation in Saikoku”. As the catchphrase “Hope, don’t lose hope” suggests, this picture gives a sense of strength to face the never-ending battle.
The new PV released at the same time also foreshadows the fierce battle that will take place in the second half of the game, raising expectations for future developments.
“Kingdom” is currently airing every Sunday at 24:10 on NHK General.
