The TV anime “Fushigi Dagashiya Zenitendo” will launch its first-ever shopping center collaboration event titled “LaLaport Nostalgic Summer Festival with Fushigi Dagashiya Zenitendo”. The event will run for a limited time from July 21 to August 15 at the four Lalaport locations in Aichi and Shizuoka Prefectures.
During the “LaLaport Nostalgic Summer Festival with Fushigi Dagashiya Zenitendo” event, participating LaLaport locations will adopt the nostalgic appearance of Zenitendo, the mysterious candy shop that provides special sweets to those with a wish to fulfill, and offer experiences that allow visitors to fully enjoy the world of Zenitendo.
The main component of the collaboration event, titled “Fushigi Dagashi Idea Contest”, invites children from local communities to submit illustrations of special sweets they wish existed in real life. From all submissions, 50 will be selected and displayed at each participating location.
The first 300 children to submit their illustration at each participating location will receive an assortment of sweets that includes an original Zenitendo sticker. Furthermore, five submissions from each participating location will be selected for the best idea award by Fushigi Dagashiya Zenitendo author Reiko Hiroshima and illustrator jyajya.
Other components of the event include the “Fushigi Dagashi Sticker Collection” where visitors can receive stickers from cashiers at participating shops when completing their purchase, the first ever Fushigi Dagashiya Zenitendo photo boards, as well as unique public announcements made with the voice of Beniko, the owner of Zenitendo.
The “LaLaport Nostalgic Summer Festival with Fushigi Dagashiya Zenitendo” event will be held at LaLaport Nagoya Minato AQULS, LaLaport Aichi Togo, LaLaport Iwata, and LaLaport Numazu from July 21 to August 15, 2021.
