A collaborative event between the TV anime “Blue Lock” and Tobu Zoo will be held from April 15, 2023. Original merchandise, collaborative food, and games will be sold.
“Blue Lock” is based on a soccer manga that won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award for Juvenile Division. The story is written by Kaneshiro Muneyuki and drawn by Nomura Yusuke, and serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine.
The “Blue Lock (Blue Prison)” project was launched by the Japan Football Union to train strikers who can lead Japan to the World Cup championship. The 300 high school students who were gathered there were all assigned to play forward. The story follows them challenging the selection to be the best striker in the world. The TV anime will be broadcast in two consecutive cours that started in October 2022.
The details of the collaborative event “Blue Rock x Tobu Zoo” have been announced. The special program is limited to the period from April 15 to June 25 and includes a lot of different content.
This time, a “collaboration ticket with benefits” that includes a limited ticket holder for the event will be on sale. The event special postcards (6 varieties) and “stamp rally card” to participate in the stamp rally will be distributed. From April 22 to May 7, an “Event Limited Birthday Bromide” of Nagi Seishiro, whose birthday falls during the event period, will also be available.
The lineup of original goods includes “Keeper ver. Trading Acrylic Stand” (8 types) and “Trading Chibi-Chara Can Badge ver.A” (12 types), both of which are based on newly drawn illustrations. The illustrations depict the characters interacting with the animals.
The collaboration food, which can be enjoyed between strolls in the amusement park and zoo, includes “stick crepe (banana)” and “popcorn with sleeve”, and “original coaster” (total 14 types/random) will be distributed as a special order bonus.
You can’t miss the “Entrance Test: Time to Play Tag” as a collaborative game. The game will be held at the “Rainbow Town” game corner in the amusement park, and prizes will be awarded according to how well the game is completed. If you can hit the target with the ball within the time limit of 11 seconds, you can get a “clear prize” in the form of a “stand pop” (total of 4 types/random). The “participation prize” is a “die-cut sticker” (24 kinds/random).
During the event period, panels will be displayed in the zoo’s “Cat World” and near the animal house of each character, where visitors can enjoy taking commemorative photos with the characters.
Attention should also be paid to the broadcast of “Character Park Announcements” recorded for this collaborative event. Isagi Yoichi and Itoshi Sae will perform their original voices at various locations in the park. The broadcasts will take place seven times a day from 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm, and 4:30pm.
In conjunction with the collaboration event, “AMNIBUS,” which sells anime merchandise, and Tobu Zoo’s official Twitter account will hold a follow & RT project. One lucky person will win a complete set of “Cheki-style Illustration Cards (total 8 types)” as a prize for purchasing original goods.
When purchasing original goods on the first day of the event and the following day (April 15 and 16), a “collaboration admission ticket with a store admission ticket” specifying the date and time to enter the shop store is required (Lawson Ticket lottery in advance). Details regarding the lottery application can be found on the “Blue Lock x Tobu Zoo” special website.
