The movie ‘Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet’ has been released on April 16, 2021. While the fans are in excitement, the author Gosho Aoyama visited the Detective Conan Cafe Omotesando location. Aoyama drew some new images of the Akai Family and Team Police Academy, and the image was posted on Detective Conan Cafe’s official Twitter account.
‘Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet’ is the latest feature film from the Detective Conan series and is a sequel to the 23rd film ‘Detective Conan: The Fist of Blue Sapphire’, which made the best box office ever in the series: 9.37 billion Japanese Yen. The film was originally scheduled to be released on April 17, 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic of COVID-19. After almost 1 year of postponement, now the film is finally in theaters starting on April 16.
In the excitement that the box office of ‘The Scarlet Bullet’ passed 2.2 billion Japanese Yen only 3 days since the release, Detective Conan Cafe’s official Twitter account made a post saying “The author Gosho Aoyama visits our Omotesando location and does some drawing for us!” with 4 newly-drawn images by Gosho Aoyama attached.
One of the new images includes the Akai Family and Yumi Miyamoto with Conan wearing sunglasses. There is also another drawing with “Team Police Academy”, which includes Wataru Takagi, Miwako Sato, Rei Furuya, and Jinpei Matsuda. It is a must-see image in which Takagi gives an exciting implication about the next film in his speech bubble: “The next film will feature us”.
The images can be seen at the Omotesando location from April 20, and prints are also planned to be shown at other locations of Detective Conan Cafe in Japan. Check Detective Conan Cafe’s official Twitter account for more details.
