April 5 is “Debut Day”.

It is an anniversary of the first professional appearance of Nagashima Shigeo of the Yomiuri Giants, a professional baseball team, and is said to be the day to send ale to newcomers.

April is the season when many people take on new challenges such as entering school or joining a company. Among Anime!Anime! readers, there must be many people who want to be supported by their favorite anime characters, such as characters with an impressive line “Do your best!” or characters from cheering squads and cheerleaders.

Therefore, this time, we conducted a reader survey entitled “What character would you like to be supported by?” We received responses from 144 people during the survey period from March 22 to March 29.
The male-female ratio is about 25% for males and about 75% for females. About 55% of the age group were teens, and about 30% were in their 20s.

■ Rengoku Kyoujurou, Flame Hashira, from “Demon Slayer” is topping the list!
1st place
1st place goes to Rengoku Kyoujurou from “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” with an approval rating of about 8%.

His passionate spirit allured many fans, “Flame Hashira who is as hot as a flame. I want Rengoku, who is proud and has a never-shaking belief, to cheer me up.”, and “If passionate Rengoku-san will support me, I can do anything!” Many fans were particularly fascinated by his performance in “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train”

2nd place
2nd place goes to Sakata Gintoki from “Gintama”. The difference with the top was very small.

Readers commented, “Even if you are very tired, he will motivate you. If you do your best, he’ll give you his favorite strawberry milk.”, and “I’m looking for a job, so I do need support. Please hire me at the Universal shop!” Some readers were inspired by the costumes from events, “The costume of the cheering squad was really cool.”

3rd place
3rd place goes to Kamado Tanjirou from “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” with an approval rating of about 6%.

Readers commented that scenes with him supporting himself were the most memorable, “Even during the work, he was able to overcome difficult situations by inspiring himself and his friends.”, and “What comes to my mind, is the scene where he encourages himself, ‘Do your best, Tanjirou, do your best!!'” Moreover, another character from “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” is Kochou Shinobu is ranked 11th place.

For Gojou Satoru from “Jujutsu Kaisen”, “The ale from the strongest magician will surely move your heart. Ale from a reliable person has a different meaning!” Votes for popular characters from movies in production were also received.

In this survey, energetic characters stand out. In the top-20, it is a fierce battle with 12 characters lined up in 11th place at the same rate.
